This study investigates assessment of Mangrove Degradation and Its Effect on Crab Populations. Using a survey research design, data were collected from 189 farmers in Oyo State. Findings reveal that crab catches decline steeply where mangrove cover has been cleared The study recommends community-based monitoring of biodiversity resources
