Assessment of Water Hyacinth Infestation on Artisanal Fishing Activities

This study assesses assessment of Water Hyacinth Infestation on Artisanal Fishing Activities. A descriptive survey design was employed and data were gathered from 379 pupils in rural communities. Findings reveal that water hyacinth mats reduce fish catch and obstruct navigation for artisanal fishers The study recommends control of pollution and habitat-degrading activities
