Design and Fabrication of a Rice Destoning Machine Using Locally Sourced Materials in Nasarawa State

This project examined design and fabrication of a rice destoning machine using locally sourced materials in nasarawa state. A survey and practical investigation design was adopted, with questionnaires, interviews and field observations administered within the study area, and the data collected were analysed using frequency counts, percentages and mean ratings. Findings revealed gaps in practical facilities and supervision that affect ND students' acquisition of technician skills in Nasarawa State. The project recommends improved workshop and laboratory provision, stronger SIWES supervision, and closer polytechnic-industry collaboration.
