Design and Implementation of an Online Banking System for Financial Transactions

This study designed and implemented an Online Banking System to support secure financial transactions among account holders. The manual and legacy processes are often slow, inconvenient, and limited in remote access. The system models accounts, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and transaction histories, providing users with a secure interface for their banking needs. Built with an object-oriented design in Python Django and SQLite, the system was evaluated for functionality, security, and usability. The findings revealed accurate transaction processing, improved convenience, and secure handling of account data. The study recommends the system as a foundation for more comprehensive digital banking services.
