This study developed a Campus Wi-Fi Access and Usage Management System to manage user access and monitor the usage of wireless networks in tertiary institutions. Managing access manually and without controls often results in unauthorised use, congestion, and inequitable bandwidth sharing. The system provides user authentication, time-based and usage-based access controls, and dashboards for administrators to monitor usage. Built with Node.js, Express, and MongoDB, the system was evaluated with network administrators and selected users. The findings showed improved access control, fairer bandwidth allocation, and better visibility of network usage. The study recommends deployment of the system to support secure and efficient campus networking.
