Development of a Heart Disease Prediction System Using Machine Learning

This study developed a Heart Disease Prediction System that estimates the likelihood of heart disease from clinical risk factors such as age, blood pressure, and cholesterol. Late detection of cardiovascular risk contributes to high mortality. The system applies classification algorithms to patient records and presents risk scores through a web interface. Built with Python Django and SQLite, the system was evaluated using public clinical datasets. Findings indicated strong predictive performance and useful risk stratification. The study recommends the system as a decision-support aid for clinicians and health screening programmes.
