This study developed a Web-Based Payroll Management System to automate the computation and disbursement of employee salaries and benefits in organisations. Manual payroll processing is error-prone, time-consuming, and difficult to audit. The system models employees, allowances, deductions, and pay computation, generating payslips and reports for staff and administrators. Built with PHP and MySQL using an object-oriented approach, the system was tested for accuracy and usability with HR staff. The findings showed reduced payroll errors, faster processing, and better record keeping. The study recommends deployment of the system to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of payroll administration.
