This study examines diversity of Butterflies in a University Campus Environment. The research adopted a survey design, collecting data from 342 fishers in the study area. Findings reveal that Butterfly abundance peaks around flowering ornamental plants on campus The study recommends integration of indigenous knowledge into conservation programmes
