This study investigates effect of Different Soil Types on the Germination of Maize Seeds. Using a survey research design, data were collected from 305 farmers in Oyo State. Findings reveal that loamy soil produces the fastest germination and sturdiest seedlings The study recommends community-based monitoring of biodiversity resources
