This study examined the effect of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) policy on financial accountability in Federal Government agencies in Nigeria. A descriptive survey design was adopted, with a structured questionnaire administered to 360 finance officers and accountants drawn from selected federal agencies in Abuja. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics and the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The findings revealed that the adoption of the TSA has significantly enhanced revenue aggregation, reduced diversion of public funds, and improved transparency in financial reporting. A strong, positive, and statistically significant relationship was established between TSA implementation and financial accountability. However, weak system integration, resistance to change, and inadequate training were identified as implementation challenges. The study recommends strengthened capacity building and enhanced automation of the system.
