This study assesses extraction and Characterisation of Essential Oils from Lemongrass. A descriptive survey design was employed and data were gathered from 321 consumers in Lagos State. Findings reveal that lemongrass oil yield and citral content support its commercial potential The study recommends public enlightenment on safe handling and use of chemical products
