This study investigates human Rights Clubs and Civic Awareness in urban secondary schools in Port Harcourt. Using a survey research design, data were collected from 189 teachers in urban secondary schools in Port Harcourt. Findings reveal that rights clubs raise petition-writing skills The study recommends provision of maps, charts and audiovisual materials to schools
