This study assesses land Tenure Systems and Inheritance Practices in Rural Areas in Birnin Kebbi. A descriptive survey design was employed and data were gathered from 387 residents. Findings reveal that customary tenure shapes women's access to land The study recommends strengthened community sensitisation and inclusive social programmes
