This study assesses open Defecation and Cholera Outbreaks in Riverine Communities in Ipata Market, Ilorin. A descriptive survey design was employed and data were gathered from 157 mothers in Ipata Market, Ilorin. Findings reveal that communities practising open defecation record more diarrhoeal outbreaks The study recommends provision of toilets and safe water in vulnerable communities
