This study investigates synthesis and Characterisation of Azo Dyes for Textile Applications. Using a survey research design, data were collected from 136 residents in Kano State. Findings reveal that the synthesised azo dyes show good colour fastness on cotton fabrics The study recommends stricter enforcement of quality standards by regulatory agencies
