This study investigates truancy and Home Background Among Junior Students in Watt Market, Calabar. Using a survey research design, data were collected from 305 pupils in Watt Market, Calabar. Findings reveal that broken supervision at home predicts truancy more than school factors The study recommends confidential counselling spaces and scheduled class visits
