This study investigates assessment of Tannery Effluent Discharge on River Water Quality. Using a survey research design, data were collected from 358 households in Oyo State. Findings reveal that tannery effluent significantly raises chromium levels downstream of discharge points The study recommends adoption of low-cost treatment and quality control methods by small producers
