This study investigates bromate Levels in Bread Baked by Local Bakeries in Sokoto Central Market. Using a survey research design, data were collected from 136 consumers in Sokoto Central Market. Findings reveal that some bakery bread exceeds permissible bromate limits The study recommends enforcement of food safety standards by regulatory agencies
