Code-Switching Patterns in Nigerian University Lectures

This study assesses code-Switching Patterns in Nigerian University Lectures. A descriptive survey design was employed and data were gathered from 157 youths in Oyo State. Findings reveal that lecturers switch codes mainly to explain difficult concepts and manage classrooms The study recommends training and retraining of English teachers in modern methods
