Effect of Debate Participation on Students' Spoken English

This study examines effect of Debate Participation on Students' Spoken English. The research adopted a survey design, collecting data from 342 teachers in the study area. Findings reveal that regular debaters show greater fluency and confidence than non-debaters The study recommends promotion of reading culture through school libraries and book clubs
