Lagosgovernment agenciese-procurementservice delivery

This study examined the effect of e-procurement implementation on service delivery in selected government agencies in Lagos State, Nigeria. Anchored on the Technology Acceptance Model and Systems Theory, the study adopted a survey design with 340 respondents drawn from procurement officers and service users. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics and the chi-square test. The findings revealed that e-procurement has improved the speed, transparency, and accountability of procurement processes, thereby enhancing the delivery of goods and services to the public, although infrastructural and capacity challenges persist. A statistically significant association was established between e-procurement adoption and improved service delivery. The study recommends sustained investment in digital infrastructure, user training, and cyber-security measures.
