Hausa Speakers' Intonation Patterns in Spoken English

This study assesses hausa Speakers' Intonation Patterns in Spoken English. A descriptive survey design was employed and data were gathered from 263 residents in secondary schools. Findings reveal that Hausa intonation transfers into English statements, affecting intelligibility The study recommends policies that balance indigenous languages with effective English instruction
