This study examines herbaria and Learning of Plant Classification in junior secondary schools in Abakaliki. The research adopted a survey design, collecting data from 254 principals in junior secondary schools in Abakaliki. Findings reveal that herbarium use sharpens classification skills The study recommends use of activity-based and improvisation methods in science lessons
