This study investigates improvisation in Teaching Energy Topics in rural secondary schools in Kaduna. Using a survey research design, data were collected from 258 principals in rural secondary schools in Kaduna. Findings reveal that local stoves demonstrate energy conversion The study recommends use of activity-based and improvisation methods in science lessons
