Influence of Administrative Planning on School Effectiveness in Nigeria
Educational Management — 2025, Undergraduate
This study investigated the influence of administrative planning on school effectiveness in Nigeria. A structured questionnaire was administered to principals, vice-principals, and education officers in selected schools. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics and regression analysis. The findings revealed that clear goal setting, resource planning, and well-organised schedules significantly improved teaching delivery, staff coordination, and overall school effectiveness. The study observed that planning was often reactive and poorly documented. It recommends institutionalised planning processes, training in educational planning, and monitoring of plan implementation.
