Influence of Inclusive Education Policies on Learning Outcomes in Nigerian Schools

This study investigated the influence of inclusive education policies on learning outcomes in Nigerian schools. A descriptive survey was conducted with teachers, school administrators, and special education officers using a structured questionnaire. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics and regression analysis. The findings revealed that inclusive policies improved access and participation for learners with disabilities and marginalised groups, although inadequate facilities, teacher training, and support limited learning outcomes. The study observed gaps between policy and practice. It recommends teacher preparation, accessible facilities, and support services for inclusive education.
