Educational Management — 2025, Undergraduate
This study investigated the influence of time management practices on the achievement of educational goals in schools in Nigeria. A structured questionnaire was administered to principals, teachers, and education officers. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics and regression analysis. The findings revealed that effective scheduling, adherence to academic calendars, and delegation of duties significantly improved goal attainment, while time wastage in meetings and administrative routines reduced efficiency. The study observed weak time audit practices. It recommends prioritisation, calendar discipline, and management training for school leaders.
