This study assesses motivation Theories and Primary Classroom Practice in junior secondary schools in Ogbomoso. A descriptive survey design was employed and data were gathered from 268 teachers in junior secondary schools in Ogbomoso. Findings reveal that reward charts beat canes for good behaviour The study recommends grounding of teacher training in philosophy and psychology
