This study assesses regeneration of Trees in a Degraded Forest Area Under Protection. A descriptive survey design was employed and data were gathered from 210 fishers in the study area. Findings reveal that protected compartments show encouraging natural regeneration of indigenous species The study recommends integration of indigenous knowledge into conservation programmes
