This study investigates teacher Competence in Operating Workshop Machines in public secondary schools in Okene. Using a survey research design, data were collected from 132 students in public secondary schools in Okene. Findings reveal that many teachers avoid powered tools The study recommends provision of adequate laboratories and teaching materials to schools
