This study assesses cashless Policy and the Shift to Digital Payments in Okene. A descriptive survey design was employed and data were gathered from 244 bank staff. Findings reveal that agent banking softens the harshness of cashless enforcement The study recommends strengthening of credit assessment systems for microfinance loan portfolios
