Development of a Security Risk Assessment and Compliance System

This study developed a security risk assessment and compliance system that inventories assets, scores threats, and maps controls to policy requirements. The system produces risk registers and compliance dashboards. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Python, Django, and SQLite. The findings showed that the system made risk tracking systematic and reduced oversight gaps, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends deployment across departmental ICT governance.
