This study developed an AI-Powered Email Spam and Phishing Detection System to protect users from unwanted and malicious emails. The growing sophistication of phishing attacks demands more than simple keyword filters. The system analyses email content and headers, applies classification models, and flags suspicious messages before they reach the inbox. Built with PHP and MySQL, the system was evaluated against labelled email corpora. Findings showed high detection rates for spam and phishing messages with few legitimate emails misclassified. The study recommends deployment as a gateway service with ongoing retraining against emerging threats.
