Influence of Organisational Culture on Employee Job Satisfaction in Banking and Insurance Companies
Business Administration — 2025, Undergraduate
This study examined the influence of organisational culture on employee job satisfaction in the Nigerian banking and insurance sectors. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with employees of selected institutions using a structured questionnaire. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics and regression analysis. The findings revealed that supportive leadership, open communication, and fairness in reward distribution significantly predicted job satisfaction and organisational commitment. Conversely, high-pressure cultures characterised by excessive targets were associated with lower satisfaction and higher turnover intentions. The study recommends cultivating a culture of support, recognition, and work-life balance.
