This study examines second-Language Anxiety in English Oral Examinations. The research adopted a survey design, collecting data from 284 students in Lagos State. Findings reveal that anxiety depresses oral scores, especially among female students The study recommends stronger emphasis on oral drills and language laboratories in schools
