Spelling Errors in Students' Composition Essays

This study investigates spelling Errors in Students' Composition Essays. Using a survey research design, data were collected from 247 residents in secondary schools. Findings reveal that phonetic spelling accounts for the largest share of errors in sampled essays The study recommends policies that balance indigenous languages with effective English instruction
