This study examines teacher Qualification and Biology Achievement in Secondary Schools in rural secondary schools in Jos. The research adopted a survey design, collecting data from 418 principals in rural secondary schools in Jos. Findings reveal that professionally trained teachers post better biology results The study recommends use of activity-based and improvisation methods in science lessons
