This study investigates teacher Qualification and Physics Achievement in urban secondary schools in Ilesa. Using a survey research design, data were collected from 191 parents in urban secondary schools in Ilesa. Findings reveal that physics graduates outperform borrowed teachers The study recommends supervision of syllabus coverage and practical work by school heads
