Design of an Online Web Application Security Audit Platform

This study designed an online web application security audit platform that guides auditors through OWASP-based checklists and records findings against compliance requirements. The platform generates audit reports and tracks remediation status. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. The findings showed that the platform standardised audits and improved reporting consistency, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends adoption by penetration testing and audit units.
