Cyber Security2025, Undergraduate

web applicationprivilege managementrole-based accessaccess control

This study developed a role-based access control management system that defines roles, assigns permissions, and grants least-privilege access to system resources. The system centralises user administration and audit logging. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Python, Django, and PostgreSQL. The findings showed that the system reduced privilege misuse and simplified access administration, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends deployment in enterprise and institutional applications.
