Development of a Web-Based Incident Response and Case Tracking Platform

This study developed a web-based incident response and case tracking platform that registers security incidents, assigns analysts, and records containment and recovery actions. Timeline views and severity dashboards support management oversight. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. The findings showed that the platform shortened incident handling cycles and improved documentation, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends deployment in security operations teams.
