Statistics2025, Undergraduate

correlationweb applicationstatistical toolshypothesis testing

This study developed an online correlation and hypothesis testing tool that guides researchers through the selection of appropriate tests and the interpretation of results. The tool computes Pearson and Spearman correlation, t-tests, and chi-square tests from uploaded data and presents conclusions in plain language. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using JavaScript, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. The findings showed that the tool reduced methodological errors in hypothesis testing and supported independent student research, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends integrating the tool with academic supervision workflows.
