Agricultural Economics — 2025, Undergraduate
This study examined the effect of climate change adaptation strategies on farm productivity in Nigeria. A descriptive survey was conducted with farmers using a structured questionnaire. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics and regression analysis. The findings revealed that strategies such as drought-tolerant varieties, irrigation, mulching, and diversified cropping significantly reduced climate-related losses and stabilised farm productivity. The study observed that limited finance and information constrained adoption. It recommends climate information services, access to adapted inputs, and investment in irrigation.
