Design and Implementation of an Online Survey and Data Collection System
Statistics — 2025, Undergraduate
This study designed and implemented an online survey and data collection system that lets researchers create questionnaires, manage respondents, and export cleaned datasets. The system supports skip logic, response validation, and real-time monitoring of collection progress. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Python, Flask, React, and PostgreSQL. The findings showed that the system accelerated data collection and improved data quality compared with paper questionnaires, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends piloting the system for institution-wide research surveys.
