Development of a Web-Based Poverty and Welfare Indicators Reporting System
Statistics — 2025, Undergraduate
This study developed a web-based poverty and welfare indicators reporting system that enables enumerators and analysts to record household data and compute standard welfare indicators. The system produces district-level summaries, poverty headcount rates, and comparison tables. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Python, Flask, Pandas, and MySQL. The findings showed that the system reduced reporting delays and improved consistency of welfare estimates, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends use by development agencies and statistical offices.
