Statistics2025, Undergraduate

probability distributionsweb applicationsimulatione-learning

This study designed an interactive probability distribution simulator and learning platform for statistics students. Users can select distributions, adjust parameters, and observe probability mass and cumulative functions with simulated random samples. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using JavaScript, Chart.js, Node.js, and MongoDB. The findings showed that the platform improved students' conceptual understanding of distributions and supported active learning, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends adoption as a supplementary learning tool in probability and statistics courses.
