Development of a Requirements Management and Traceability System
Information Technology — 2025, Undergraduate
This study developed a requirements management and traceability system that captures functional and non-functional requirements, links them to tests, and tracks change history. The system generates gap and coverage reports for analysts. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Python, Flask, and SQLite. The findings showed that the system improved requirement clarity and reduced scope drift, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends use in system development projects.
