Development of a Test Coverage and Quality Gate Enforcement System

This study developed a test coverage and quality gate enforcement system that consumes coverage reports, evaluates gate criteria, and blocks or flags releases that fail defined thresholds. The system tracks gate history and remediation evidence. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. The findings showed that the system strengthened release readiness discipline, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends integration with delivery pipelines.
