Development of a Web-Based Effort and Productivity Measurement System
Software Engineering — 2025, Undergraduate
This study developed a web-based effort and productivity measurement system that records effort by deliverable, computes simple productivity ratios and function-point style sizing, and supports calibration against estimates. The system produces reporting for planning. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. The findings showed that the system improved estimation realism and productivity insight, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends use by project offices.
