Development of a Web-Based Statistical Process Control Tool for Production

This study developed a web-based statistical process control tool that helps production units monitor quality using control charts and capability analysis. The tool computes X-bar, R, and p charts from uploaded samples and flags out-of-control points. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Python, Flask, Matplotlib, and SQLite. The findings showed that the tool reduced defect detection time and supported preventive quality management, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends deployment in manufacturing and agro-processing industries.
